REFLECTON

"REFLECTION"

We all know that a start ends, and end starts. The way we started and how it ends. The way we ended and how it starts.over again.

This 4th grading, the last quarter, I had learned, earned, and accomplish a lot. Aside from posting, typing and blogging, photoshop also had its way to be learned to us.
From  simple opening of folders and images, it goes beyond amazing which causes more interesting. Photoshop taught me how to color of different hair styles, clone another picture or image, patch pimples, wrinkles and black spots which is totally awesome to do, greyscale images, and more on its tools in using.
It is not just those simple-using-tools I learned from photoshop. For I learned and realize how genius people are now, which how they make an image better after than before.
Now the quarter ends. But still lessons I had learned will always be remembered in my heart and mind. I hope this doesn't stop me from learning ahead as it ends.
                    Thank you technology subject!!! ♡♡♡

My Dream...My Future

"My Dream...My Future"

Do you pay attention in how fast time goes by? Before we realize, time has passed by and all the dreams we had for our future have not yet come true. The reason is because our dreams are just dreams and haven’t yet become goals.
Life is no Nintendo game. You live only once. Therefore, we must fulfill those precious one called Dream during the rest of our short Life.
Everyone has dreams. Whether they be to become a scientist and discover new and amazing things, or become a star basketball player and be the highest paid player in the league, people dream about their future.
As for me, I have my own dreams too. If you ask me this in my childhood, I would say: “I want to be a teacher… I want to be an actor… and so on…” But if you ask me now, I will tell you I have only one dream right now. And that is to become a successful business woman someday.
My dream is to be great neurosurgeons. I know it is not simple at all. But I know I can achieve it. I feel like this is my destiny. This is why I came to this world.  I do not know when or how I am going to achieve this. But it will not be easy. I am constantly studying in school right now. I cannot give up even if I fail. There is a saying that failure is the greatest teacher. I know in order to pursue my dream, I will face failure. This cannot be stopped. Even Albert Einstein and Sir Isaacs Newton faced failure when they are trying to create a great formula that is remained to be used till today.
But before achieving dreams such like that, I must first study well and finish a bachelor’s degree and become a professional or if not, for a vocational course I needed for an occupation nor job. And after I graduate and had employed a job, I could help my parents in our daily living.
I will do anything and everything just to achieve my dreams. For my dreams are my future.
Dream is something that all of us need to have. It is our vision. Dream is what you want to do for your future. I believe that having a great dream, is a must to us. Dream can help you to prepare to face this challenging world. What am I going through now is just the start. I just find the keys. I am still trying to open the door. When I finally did, I will not hesitate.

Change: It starts with me

"Change: It starts with me"
What is change? Change can be big or small. Change is something happens every day in the world. Change can be for the better or for the worst. Change can also be defined as the ability to undergo a transformation or transition.
Change can be something simple as the change in the weather each day or something big as the journey a women goes through when she’s pregnant.
We have all experienced change at some point in our lives such as moving houses, schools or the major change everybody goes through know as adolescence.
“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning but anyone can start today and make a new ending”. Maria Robinson’s quote can be applied to the concept of change as anyone can alter the way they are in their lives and become something new. Change is a state of transformation which results in a fundamental shift in the way we perceive and interact with the world. It is the process of being made different, altered in appearance, turned into something or someone new. The concept of change is very important in our lives as it gives us new experiences whether it be positive or negative.
Change starts with me. Though others help me throughout changing. It is not easy to change, in which we must first think when to change. As time goes by, time is wasted if we can’t start changing as soon as possible.
I know myself. I am the one who will change what’s wrong with me. I know what’ the best of me and I know what’s worst in me. Throughout my journey, it was kinda hard to settle some problems along my way. Since I am the “old me”, I had come up to realize that it was time for me to change for the better. Weaker to stronger; negative to positive; fake to real.
My whole life, I have been presented to a single element called change. Change occurs in many different forms and is carried out in many different ways. However, just recently, I have come to the realization that change can be the deepest of all subjects. I always assumed that change occurred when you moved to a new town or when you lost someone close to you. Those are elements to change, yes, but change doesn't have to occur over a single dramatic event. It can just happen overnight when your brain determines it's time to do something different.

Insight: Ylocos Kannawidan Festival

"KANNAWIDAN 2015"

Ilocos Sur, our very own province has rich and stunning cultures and traditions that we Ilocanos must be proud of. In order to showcase these, we have important festives just to exhibit and promote products of ours and precious cultures of Ilocanos to attract and invite tourists to come and visit Ilocos.
One of these is the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival which is a week-long festive of happiness for local and foreign tourists as more entertaining events are included in the celebration. The best of Ilocos Sur's culture, tradition and tourist attractions are in the limelight again in the month-long celebration of Kannawidan Ylocos 2015, which starts on Jan. 29.
Now on its 7th year, the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival had already established its identity as the prime festival of the province. The festival was launched in 2008 under the leadership of then Governor Deogracias Victor B. Savellano to commemorate the 190th foundation day of Ilocos Sur as separate province through the approval of a Spanish Royal Decree on February 2, 1818.
The province has a rich heritage and unique cultures that need to be preserved for the next generations. However, many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano cultures were not already familiar to the younger generations due to the influence of the television, computer and internet. Highlights include the members of the Bayanihan Dance Company entertained the Ilocanos with their world class performance of the Beauty of the Philippines through dances, music and sounds. Their graceful movements and excellent rendition of songs and playing the indigenous musical instruments drew attractions from the crowd. Governor Luis Chavit Singson and Vice Governor Savellano together with the officials of the Department of Education Division of Ilocos Sur signified the start of the different contests for elementary and high school students. These include traditional tribal rituals, choir and glee club competition, marching band contest, traditional music ensemble, dance drama, traditional and folk dances, contemporary dance competition and street dancing showdown.
These events aimed to encourage young Ilocanos to learn these indigenous songs and dances for sustainability and preservation. Another important event is the Partuat ken Patanor Trade and Agri Fair. Officials from the trade and agri fair displayed all products from the different towns of the Ilocos Sur and its nearby provinces. The annual "Pinaka Contest" was also held to give citations the local farmers' extraordinary farm and fishery products and livestock.
This Kannawidan Ylocos Festival aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products. We, Ilocanos should all be proud of with this because we are having this for tourists to appreciate our rich culture. Moreover, let us all preserve these cultures for next generations and this will serve as our trademark as an Ilocano.

Reflection

"REFLECTION"

Life goes on. Things move on forward, fast. Since yesterday was just the start. 3rd grading ended up so fast. And I learned a lot. More things to be discovered, and I did it and passed through.
Learning new great things is interesting and fun. It gives you a lot and puts you up interest. But, I, sometimes let my lessons fade and be lost.
That's the reason why, I think, I may have a little bit of problem in my grades this 3rd grading. But I promised myself to more such effort this last grading.
I can say third grading is fun. But I am lazy and again, late in passing. If there's a wrong move I did this grading, there's a right thing I did. Like, I am active and I do participate in class, have high exams and tests, and quite attentive and good.

When a bad start comes over with, don't let it and control it, fight it and have a change.

New Year, New Me

"NEW YEAR, NEW ME"

Things passes by. Everything passes, like seconds, days, months and also years. These passes creates something, new and change.
I said goodbye to 2014 since the midnight, new years eve, to welcome another year. I never doubted things with my life in 2014. There are just things that I didn't work up with.
Promises, wishes, hopes and dreams. I planned all these 4 for 2014. Yet, it didn't work but some are. These 4 have different meanings, but i think they're the same. Change. All I want is change.
I might change some of my attitudes, the way I think and my life. I thought that 2014 would be my year, but it wasn't. That is why I am going to do everything I want to and change this new year.
New year doesn't always mean being or trying to be new you. New year means creating a new beginning, keeping up your good deeds and see changes.

There are a lot of things I want to start this year. And that is to begin what I had unfinished last year and make some differences in my life.
          #Happy New Year!!!!!  ðŸ˜Š

The True Essence of Christmas

"The True Essence of Christmas"

It's that time of year again. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts under the tree, the lights in the windows, the cards in the mail, turkey dinners with family and friends, snow in the yard, stockings hanging in the living room, and shouts of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets? Is this really Christmas?
For many people, Christmas is a time of sorrow. They don't have the extra money to buy presents for their children, family, and friends. Many are saddened at Christmastime when they think of their loved ones who will not be able to come home for various reasons.
Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. His birth brought great joy to the world. Shepherds, wise men, and angels all shared in the excitement of knowing about this great event. They knew this was no ordinary baby. The prophets had told of His coming hundreds of years before. The star stopped over Bethlehem just to mark the way for those who were looking for this special child.
Christmas is best enjoyed when it isn't centered on decorations, gifts, or festivities, but when love is at its core. Love is the essence of Christmas. Christmas should mean taking quality time with your family and friends. It's about cherishing and celebrating the love you share.
